Story Our old ancestors can teach us many things about the landscapes and the night sky and how it affects us, this painting is referring to the emu in the sky which is one of our four creation animals. She lives in the milky way as a star constellation with our creator Biami who also live in the stars.

Design In the painting you'll see the emu footprints which are moving up the artwork, this represents her leaving Mother Earth in the beginning (Creation) and going to live in the stars with our creator Biami. The eggs painted in the art are to represent when the emu is on the horizon in the sky we believe that its emu season, when we can go and collect eggs.
